Spring is just around the corner, and Hoopnotica is already in bloom! Bursting with energy, the Ladies of Hoopnotica are all a buzz with new projects.
Catch Keaton and Gabriella on QVC this week, spreading the Hoopdance love for the first time on the show. Here's the inside scoop: we got trucks full of Hoopnotic packages to be sold at super discounted prices, especially for QVC customers!
The only place you can buy them is on Wednesday, March 5th at 10AM EST (That's 7AM for our West Coast Hoopers).
Now is a great time to invest in some new gear for the summertime, and get a terrific deal. If you don't have a need to purchase anything new, we would really appreciate your support: CALL IN and tell all those QVC shoppers how much you love our TravelHoop & Instructional DVD! We only have 3-5 minutes on the air & your phone call will help sell the most product. The Ladies of Hoopnotica are a humble group; we are asking you to please call in and SHOW US THE LOVE!
We have begun our 3 Month countdown to Summer! Want to release a little wintertime pudge? Hooping just a few minutes a day will make a big difference when you're rockin' your summertime look, so START NOW! We Ladies are all doing it, and want to invite you to join us. Keep your eyes out for a special Summertime Body Challenge, arriving in your inbox in the days to come- along with an opportunity to share your story and help inspire others and get flown out to Los Angeles for a photo shoot with Hoopnotica! (as if a tight bootie isn't incentive enough!?)
Love yourselves, love your families, love your friends.
Happy Hooping!

The Ladies of Hoopnotica have been getting a great response from the amazing TIME Magazine article. Rayna had a blast in her appearance on In the Loop with iVillage- getting all 3 hosts to hoop it up on the national NBC show.
Peter Greenberg, aka "The Travel Detective" aired a spot on the Hoopnotic TravelHoop on his radio show, The Travel Minute and Keaton was featured on Dr. Barton's Emotional Fitness radio show, along with Billy Blanks, creator of Tae Bo.
Hoopnotica was also featured in H2O Magazine, which is available in Gold's Gym's nationwide.

Favorite Song to Hoop to: Breaks
"I was inspired to start hooping by Rayna, Anah (Hoopalicious) and Jenn Quednau (Mutaytor). Then I began performing with the Mutaytor and I really enjoyed working in an ensemble where I could learn new creative skills and be inspired by other performers and artists. I learned that I was indeed an artist and could be creatively self expressed. From my experience as a competitive swimming athlete, I knew I had drive and ambition, but I was missing that creative fulfillment and I discovered that in hooping and performing." ~ KJ

Arm Weaving
A standard in any Hoopers 'bag of tricks' - Arm Weaving is a key way to start dancing on the upper body, and helps to improve your overall chest & shoulder hooping as well! This move really works the obliques, chest & upper back, so be prepared to put a lot of energy into it. When learning, it may feel a bit chaotic, however- there are a couple key tips to make arm weaving look seamless and graceful.
1. Focus on your Back Push. The key element to keeping the hoop on your upper body when you move your arms in and out- a strong back push with each lift or drop of an arm is essential!
2. Lead with your Elbow. When Arm Weaving from Shoulder Hooping, our first instinct is to shoot our hand up as fast as we can, but once you're used to the timing, try leading with your elbow when you lift your arm out and allow your wrist and hand to follow naturally. This subtle detail definitely adds a smooth touch.
