It's official- Spring is finally here! As the little blooms burst into color, enjoy some outdoor hooping as you prep your body for what is going to be a super hot summer!
Remember, Hooping is a great way to reduce! If you're looking for an easy 5 pound burn; to tone-up your already slender figure; or to jumpstart into a larger transformation, Hoopdance is the sexiest, most enjoyable workout a-"round"!  Burn up to 400 calories an hour (just by keeping the hoop around your waist and hips!), or turn it up with your best moves (incorporating arms, jump throughs, and upper body) for a high energy workout that uses up to 600 calories per hour. This will boost your metabolism before breakfast, and give you a good stretch with which to begin your day. Focus your energy inwards and let it be a few minutes of "moving meditation."
 
2. Mid-day blues are spun into nothing if you keep your TravelHoop at hand! Just 5 minutes will act like an espresso to your soul; improving energy and mood to keep you present and centered during your day.  
 
3. When you get off from work, or when the baby is taking a nap- just 20 minutes of hi-energy hooping can burn an extra 200 calories at the end of your day.
 
(Remember to consult your doctor before beginning this or any exercise plan. To maximize results, couple it with an eating plan that makes sense for you)

The Vertical Jump-Through
 
We love this move 'cause it's a fun way to increase your heart rate, engage your thighs, and makes everyone say "Holy Hooper! How does she DO that?!" A good Jump Through takes practice and arm strength to complete with grace. Here are some tips for making it look like the Pros.
 
1.        Avoid the jump rope technique- Don't turn the opening of your hoop towards you when you jump in- instead leave it facing the diagonal- you'll still fit, we promise~ and it will make the ending flow a lot easier.
 
2.        Keep your hand gripped loosely around the hoop as you jump, so it can move through your palm with momentum. The more you grip the hoop- the more work you have to do in the end. Allow the hoop to continue its flow.
